Real Estate Solicitor
We’re seeking to recruit two ambitious and capable Solicitors (NQ -3yrs PQE) to join our large and busy Commercial Property team. Based in our Exeter office, you will report directly to the Partners and play an integral part in a wide range of work, covering the full range of legal services across all asset classes for a varied client base, including private and public sectors, both within the UK and internationally. You will be acting for a number of high profile developers, regional investment companies, FE Colleges and local authorities on matters relating to real estate developments, self-invested pension schemes, retail franchising, healthcare, education and investment, for which the department has a superb reputation, both locally and further afield. You will have already gained some experience of working on a range of commercial property transactions, and be seeking to expand your skills and knowledge, whilst being supported by an experienced team. Within a busy team environment you will be responsible for dealing with high quality, high value work and will be afforded high levels of responsibility from the outset.
An excellent communicator with proven technical and organisational skills, you’ll be accustomed to working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. We’re looking for good general Commercial Property knowledge and experience and, in particular, the ability to deal with large development projects. You will have an eye for detail, and be meticulous in your work. Being self-motivated and ambitious, you already possess the drive to help continue to grow and develop our business. If you happen to have any foreign languages, this would be advantageous, but not essential.
Client care is important to us, and to you too. You will also need the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, and show a genuine commitment to their care. Dedicated and enthusiastic, you will have the ability to work efficiently with a commitment to client care and business development. Ideally, you will have completed your training contract at a leading city or national practice, and have prior experience of working with a diverse range of clients.
Working for this leading national practice, you can expect to be provided with excellent training and development opportunities, in order to further your career in a stimulating yet supportive, forward thinking Firm. We’re ambitious – for ourselves, and for our people – and want to support you to realise your full potential, whilst enjoying a positive work-life balance in a beautiful South West location. You’ll also enjoy our range of flexible benefits, which include:
- Life Assurance
- Private Health Insurance
- Private Medical Insurance
- Discretionary bonus scheme
- 25 days annual leave, all bank holidays plus your birthday off and an extra day at Christmas. Your holiday entitlement increases with length of service.
- Holiday Purchase Scheme
- Childcare Voucher Scheme
- Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay
- Free Legal Services to Staff: Including wills and conveyancing
- Medicash: Health care cash plan for employees
