Simon Chadwick, Founder
Simon has worked in professional services recruitment for nearly 25 years, in the legal and financial markets, both in the UK and globally. His unrivalled knowledge of the legal and financial markets, accompanied by his industry contacts, now lead him to introduce innovative resourcing models to the market. With Espero Consulting, Simon is able to capitalise on his experience and provide services to the global legal market in a way that are at once flexible, collaborative and consultative.
He has been a board member of two law firms and the local leader of the Managing Partners’ Forum in the UK (www.mpfglobal.com). Simon is best known for starting the leading legal recruiter Chadwick Nott – the company he sold to what is now Impellam Group plc; the second largest staffing company in the UK, owned by Lord Ashcroft. Simon is a passionate leader and Chadwick Nott achieved remarkable levels of staff engagement (it reached Number 18 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For).
Simon is proud of Espero Consulting’s unique share ownership model, which has been developed in order to attract highly ambitious recruiters and advisors who may be frustrated by the lack of ‘skin in the game’ for them in more traditional staffing company models. Espero is able to combine a high level of financial reward, together with a genuine opportunity for its people to build real equity value in the business – a route which will trigger a rewarding future for all concerned.
Espero’s Training Academy provides cutting edge training for graduates and qualified lawyers, and will equip the skills needed to be successful as an Espero recruiter or retained advisor. The five weeks of intensive training forges the well-rounded, business-savvy approach to our work that gives us and our people an outstanding reputation.
